Minoa Named Among Top 40 at the Definitive(ly) Good Food Guide Awards 2025
Minoa Mediterranean Fusion has once again proven its place among Malta’s most distinguished dining destinations. We are delighted to share that Minoa has placed among the Top 40 restaurants on the island at the 2025 Definitive(ly) Good Food Guide Awards by Restaurants Malta, held on Monday 8th December 2025, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Valletta.
This award is a testament to the unwavering dedication, creativity, and consistency of our talented team, who work passionately every day to deliver an exceptional Mediterranean fusion experience on Level 11 of AX ODYCY Hotel in Qawra.
A Moment of Pride for Our Culinary and Service Teams
Representing AX Hotels Qawra and Minoa on this special evening were Senior General Manager Joseph Vella, Executive Chef Paul Borg, Senior HR Manager Joseanne Tanti, Executive Sous Chef Rodney Cauchi, Minoa Head Chef Zohair Aljatlawi, and Minoa Sous Chef Carnel Jay Larumbe. Also in attendance were Food & Beverage Operations Manager Michel Pinto, Food & Beverage Manager Gordon Muscat, Assistant Food & Beverage Manager Govind Singh, Restaurant Supervisors Surrender Singh and Syed Shanawaz, Events Manager Valentina Cassar, and Marketing Coordinator Deepali Singhla. Each individual plays an essential role in driving Minoa’s vision forward, creating a dining experience that blends refined service, innovative flavours, and a setting that elevates every visit into something memorable.
